Darren E. Burrows is an American actor who is the son of actor Billy Drago and the step son of actress Silvana Gallardo. He is partially Apache and partially Cherokee by descent. He attended the acting school of his father and step mother which proved to be his entrance point into the field of acting. He is married to a French chef Melinda Delgado. The couple has four sons named William Franklin Burrows, Audie Valentine Burrows, Atticus Colter Burrows and Cochise Steele Burrows. Darren currently lives with his family outside Los Angeles.

Darren first appeared on the silver screen while he was at his father’s acting school. Till date he has performed various roles in over two dozen television shows and movies. On television he has appeared in shows like TV 101, The Siege at Ruby Ridge, NYPD Blue, The X- Files, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Peacemakers etc., besides playing the role of Ed Chigliak on Northern Exposure. In addition he has also worked in movies like Casualties of War, Cry-Baby, Amistad, Natural Selection, Lady in the Box, Never Get Outta the Boat and Forty Shades of Blue etc. His upcoming movie NoNAMES is currently under post-production.

Role in Northern Exposure

In Northern Exposure, he plays the role of the loveable Ed Chigliak. He is a good-natured, easy going young boy. He is a film buff and aspires to be a director some day. He has come to learn everything he knows about life through movies and is a great fan of Woody Allen and Federico Fellini. He is also training to be a spiritualist and is often visited by a spirit who guides him about various issues.
